A Celebration of Reading: Book Fair at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Idukki | July 2–4, 2025

From July 2 to 4, 2025, the vibrant campus of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Idukki is coming alive with the sights, sounds, and stories of a grand Book Fair by DC Books. This three-day literary event is a joyful celebration of knowledge, imagination, and the power of books to shape young minds.

A Gateway to the World of Books

Held in connection with National Reading Month, the Book Fair is aimed to cultivate a deeper reading culture among students, encouraging them to explore beyond textbooks and discover the joys of independent reading. Stalls is set up in the Activity Hall, showcasing a wide variety of books across genres—fiction, non-fiction, science, history, biographies, classics, and children’s literature, in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. Students, teachers, and parents get the opportunity to browse and purchase books, making it an interactive and enriching experience for the entire school community.

The Book Fair successfully created a buzz around books and reading, reinforcing the idea that libraries and book fairs are not just events but essential parts of an academic environment.
